Obituary for William F. Klaus III

William F. Klaus III of Royal Oak, Michigan died July 2, 2021. He was 38 years old. William was born on April 7, 1983 in Hammond, Indiana to parents, Janice (nee Murray) and William F. Klaus, Jr.

William enjoyed the outdoors. He loved fishing and was a talented handyman. He was skilled at building and fixing things. In his spare time, he enjoyed raising his bearded dragons, racing RC cars, and painting. Most of all, however, William enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his children.

William will be remembered fondly for his heart of gold and willingness to help anyone in need. He was a wonderful father and Godfather, an amazing friend, and a loving husband. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

William is survived by his wife, Rachel Klaus, his children Alexis and Charles, and his siblings, Charlotte Klaus and Andrew Klaus. He is also survived by his in-laws, John and Lynne Cobb and their children, David (Janet) Cobb, Daniel Cobb, and Leah Cobb, his nephews, Camron Clark and Jerlin Disney, his grandfather, William Klaus, Sr., his aunts, Shonna Murray, Goldie (Eric) Moore, Adrienne (Philip) Keranen, and Kathy Klaus (Mike Ford), many cousins, and more friends than they could count. William is preceded in death by his daughter, Sarah Klaus, his parents, William (Janice) Klaus, Jr., his grandparents, Charmaine Klaus, Bert (Sharon) Murray, and his uncle Karl Klaus.

A Funeral will be held at Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1800 W Maple Road, Birmingham, Michigan on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 1pm. Friends may visit at church beginning at 10:30am.
