Obituary for Wilfred A. Hall

Wilfred A. Hall, a long-time resident of Clawson died July 8, 2018. He was 78 years old. Will was born March 14, 1940, in Detroit to Valinda (nee Archibald) and Wilfred E. Hall.

Will married the love of his life, Virginia Karolyi February 18, 1961, beginning a life together that would bring them 5 children and 9 grandchlldren.

Will was a self-taught auto mechanic who was certified in performance and air conditioning, retiring from Mike Savoie Chevrolet in 2005. He was passionate about mechanical things. Will rebuilt antique cars, rode motorcycles, was an avid toy train collector, and a member of the Train Collectors Association. He loved country music and dancing but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family.

Will was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, neighbor and friend who will be deeply missed.

Will is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Virginia Hall and children, Ronnie (Karen Young) Hall, Connie (Chris) Ostrowski, Margo (Rich) Haley, Tracy (Gayle) Chinn, and Will (Jayme) Hall. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jessica, Jamie, Jacob, Brad, Matthew, Ryan, Chase, Carson, and Chance.

A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Friday, July 13th at 11am. Friends may visit Thursday, July 12th, 3-8pm. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
