Wendell H. Smith, Jr. a long time resident of Birmingham, died August 22, 2016. He was 86 years old. Wendell was born November 17, 1929, in Detroit to Julie (nee Porath) and Wendell H. Smith, Sr.

Wendell is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Ann Louise Smith, daughter, Catherine (Bob) Blakley, and sons, Wendell (Martha) Smith, III and Steven Smith. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and brother, William Smith.

Private Services have been held.

Memorials appreciated to St. Dunstan’s Theatre, 400 Lone Pine Road, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan 48304.
