When complimented on a particularly great meal she had prepared, she would smile and say that it was “Just a little something I whipped up”.

Shirley loved her faith and the church. She made life long friends at St. Paul United Methodist Church and served for many years within the United Methodist Woman and volunteered her time tirelessly for a variety of causes, committees, and support groups to serve her church and community.
