Obituary for Shelly Ann Cingel

Shelly Ann Cingel died June 13, 2016 at Beaumont Hospital in Farmington Hills. She was 52 years old. Shelly was born on October 17, 1963 in Pontiac, Michigan.

Shelly was an active member of Marine Mom's Online where she provided troops with care packages. She loved summer days in the sun and enjoyed cooking, Jeopardy and Euchre. Shelly was a talented and passionate writer, as well as a social butterfly. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and she loved her grandchildren very much. She will be deeply missed.

Shelly is survived by her loving companion, Jim Williams and her beloved children, Sarah Baker, Megan Baker, and Bryan Cingel. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Gracie Jane Baker, Miles Baker and Emma Markwick, her loving parents, Patricia and Thomas Catanese, and her dear siblings, Kathy (Randy) Donegan, Susan (Kevin) Just, and Jim (Terri) Grosch. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and her best friend, Bobbie DuBois. Shelly is preceded in death by her son, Sgt. Michael T. (Kelly) Baker, USMC and her brother, Jerry Grosch.

A Sharing of Memories will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Thursday at 7pm. Friends may visit beginning at 2pm.

Committal Services will be held at Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak, Friday at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family, c/o Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 1368 N. Crooks Road, Clawson, Michigan 48017.
