Obituary for Roseanne Lazar

Roseanne Lazar of Troy died July 10, 2016, at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. She was 58 years old. Roseanne was born November 22, 1957, in Dearborn, Michigan to Joann (nee Pawelek) and Joseph Rakoczy.

Roseanne was a remarkably kind, caring, and loving person. She was a selfless mother, a devoted wife, and generous to all. Rose was there for anyone who needed help, advice, or a listening ear. She always thought of others first. Roseanne was deeply loved and greatly respected by all her family and friends. Everyone knew that Rose had a hilarious sense of humor. Roseanne had a unique ability to make those she met feel like they had known her forever.

She was affectionately known as “Auntie Rose” to numerous friends of her nieces and nephews. Rose had a very close and special relationship with her sister, MaryAnn, and was like a second grandma to MaryAnn’s grandchildren. Roseanne will be greatly missed and remembered with love.
