Obituary for Ola Emily Wease

Ola E. Wease, a long-time resident of Royal Oak died June 14, 2018. She was 93 years old. Ola was born September 10, 1924 in Kitchner, Canada to Daisy (nee Sharp) and Joseph Plumtree. Ola proudly served during WWII as a member of the Women’s Army Corps (WAC).

Ola enjoyed going to garage sales, playing Bingo, and visiting Frankenmuth. She was a devoted caregiver to her grandson, Mikey and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Ola is survived by her daughter, Susan (James) Smith, son, Ayleet “Bud” (Deborah) Wease and grandchildren, Richie, Nick (Marielle), Tracy (Brad), Kerry, Sam (Kari), Brad (Melisa), Kristy, Max (Charlina), and Mikey. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, J.R., Sydney, Emma, Reagan, Lilly, Ava, Alyssa, Daniel, and Aeden. Ola is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Alyeet “Al” Wease and daughter, Joanne “Jo” Metivier.

A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Monday, June 18th at 11am. Friends may visit Sunday, June 17th, 4-7pm and Monday beginning at 10am. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery.
