Obituary for Michael R. Hill

Michael “Mike” Roy Hill, 60 of Bloomfield Hills Michigan, formally of Armada Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 3, 2017. Mike was born March 30, 1957 in Detroit Michigan, to the late Edward and Rose Hill.

He married his longtime sweetheart and best friend Patricia Biggar. Mike enjoyed the outdoors from camping under the stars, to scuba diving on the ocean floor. Fly fishing, spear fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and laughing with family and friends are just a few things that Mike really enjoyed. He also loved to travel, especially taking trips to North Carolina during the holidays to spend time with loved ones. While home relaxing Mike liked to cook, he was proud of his homemade breads, and venison pastrami.

Mike was a long-time employee of PPG Industries, and most recently Caraco Pharmaceuticals of Wixom, Michigan.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Rose Hill of Armada, Michigan.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife Patricia; siblings Thomas(Susan) Hill, Dorothy Hill, Rita(Mike) Gainor, Bill(Mary) Hill, Ed(Cindy) Hill, Dan Hill, Jim Hill, Jack(Karen) Hill, Bob(Lisa Allor) Hill, mother-in-law Mary Biggar, brother-in-law Dr. J(Janis)Nestor, many nieces and nephews and his life-long friend Dan(Deb) Jakubiak.

Everyone who remembers Mike is asked to celebrate his life in their own way by raising a glass of your favorite drink in his memory.

A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Saturday, November 11th at 10am. Friends may visit Friday, November 10th, 4-8pm. Burial will be in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
