Obituary for Mary Elaine Wilson

We will always remember and celebrate the former Detroit, Michigan resident Mary Elaine Wilson.We mourn not her passing to the Lord God, but revere the full life she lived.

Mary was born June 15,1959 to Leonard Farmer and Cathline Olds at John Gaston Hospital, Memphis Tennessee. She was raised in Detroit the majority of her life where she accepted Christ. Mary received her GED and attended nursing assistant school where she became a CNA. Mary loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them and often spoke highly of them. Mary was joined in holy matrimony to Donna Lee Wilson who preceeded her in death. A loving mother, Mary was blessed with seven children, Latrice Olds, Creshinda Olds, Robert Wilson, Donna Wilson, Dominque Wilson, Javon Wilson and Keith Mitchell.

Mary was preceded in death by her Husband Donna Lee Wilson, son Javon Wilson, Father Leonard Farmer {Biological}, Grandmother Cornelia Price, Grandfather Elbert Olds, Sisters Glennie Winn, Djuana Powers and Brother In-Law Anthony Wilson.

Mary was called home on February 5,2019 at the age of 59. Mary is survived by her children Latrice Olds {Sarah}, Crishinda Olds, Donna Wilson, Robert Wilson, Dominque Wilson and Keith Mitchell; her grandchildren India Olds-Brown, Asia, Kierra & Rayshawn Laster, Allan & Malik Olds, Kissiah & Lavaeha Edwards, Robert Jr., Alana, Elijah Wilson; great granddaughter Harmony Brown; mother Cathline Olds {Willie Powers Sr.}, sisters Odessa Bell, Ann Ramsey, Tina Powers, Kim Powers, and Samantha Winston {Eric Winston}, brothers Jethro Powers {Minnie Powers}, Willie Powers Jr., Albert Winn Sr., Darren Carey {Faye Carey}, Leo Powers {Gwen Powers}, Billy Gardner {Christina Gardner}, Gregory Gardner, Kenneth Powers {Michelle Powers}, long term life partner Keith Eatmon; and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, relatives and friends.

Mary will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her just as much as she loved them.

A Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, February 18, 2019, at Redeemed Christian Fellowship Church, 18641 Wyoming, Detroit, Michigan 48221. Friends may visit beginning at 11am.
