Obituary for Margaret O. Davignon

Margaret O. Davignon, of Southfield, formerly of Troy, Detroit, and Dearborn Heights, died March 26, 2012, at St. Anne�s Mead in Southfield. She was 94 years old. Margaret was born September 13, 1917, in Rochester, New York, to Alfreda and George Oberlies. She graduated from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York with a major in mathematics and moved to Detroit in 1955.

Margaret was a member of St. Regis Church in Bloomfield Hills and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, she was deeply loved and will be sorely missed by many.

Margaret is survived by her children, Larry (Mary Kay) Davignon, Jeanne Touzeau, Paul (Patrice) Davignon, and Joe (Colleen) Davignon, and grandchildren, Gordie and David (Meghan) Davignon, Chris and Stephan Touzeau, Andrew, Phil, and Marc Davignon, and Eric and Lisa Davignon. She is also survived by her great-grandsons, Christopher-Paul and Benjamin Touzeau. Margaret is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maurice Davignon.

Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road, (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Thursday 3-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Regis Church, 3695 Lincoln @ Lasher, Bloomfield Hills, Friday 10am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 9:30am. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
