Obituary for Margaret Ann Good

Margaret Ann Good, a resident of Birmingham for 50 years, died peacefully, January 22, 2020. She was 77 years old. Margaret was born July 26, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Margaret (nee Burke) and Edward Medler.

A graduate of Visitation Academy of St. Louis, Margaret attended St. Louis University and Oakland University. She married the love of her life, Peter Good on September 8, 1962, beginning a marriage that would span 57 years.

A member of Holy Name Parish for 50 years, Margaret attended 8 o’clock Mass there every day for over 25 years and was a member of the 8 O’clocker’s Breakfast Club. She was also President of the Holy Name PTG and a member of Ladies of Charity.

In her professional career, Margaret was a Secretary and Office Manager at Ceresnie and Offen Furs for over 30 years.

Margaret is survived by her beloved husband, Peter J. Good, daughter, Maggie (Tom) Moglia, and grandchildren, Caroline Colosimo, Marta Colosimo, Conor Moglia, and Haley Moglia. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret is preceded in death by her brother, Edward (the late Maureen) Medler.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Name Catholic Church, 630 Harmon Street, Birmingham, Saturday, January 25th at 10am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 9am.
