Obituary for Madelyn Maddie Compton

Madelyn �Maddie� Compton died at her home in Troy, October 28, 2012. She was 14 years old. Maddie was born October 11, 1998, in Royal Oak, to Christina (nee Andrakovich) and Kevin Compton.

Maddie suffered from RND (Reflex Neurovascular Dystrophy) , also known as CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), a condition that causes chronic pain, and although at times her disease caused her great frustration, she was still able to accomplish much. She completed 8th grade at Smith Middle School and was a freshman at Troy High School. She was very creative and expressed her creativity through painting and writing. Maddie was drawn towards architecture and created her own artist studio at home where she produced beautiful works. She loved the outdoors, especially spending time up north in Lewiston. Maddie�s qualities of natural grace, coordination, and determination shown through in all she did. Whether sports or her artistic endeavors, Maddie�s determination was constant.

A beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend, Maddie was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.

Maddie is survived by her parents, Christina and Kevin Compton and brothers, Bradley and Cole Compton. She is also survived by her grandparents, Ron and Gerri Compton, Dr. Felix and Carolina Andrakovich and Dr. George and Nancy Evseeff and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.

Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Friday 2-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church, 4580 Adams Road, Troy, Saturday at 10am. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
