Obituary for Louis Todd Bower

It's with a heavy heart we regret to inform friends and community that Louis Todd Bower of Bloomfield Hills passed away Easter morning, April 12 at age 90.

Louis Todd was born in Shelbyville, Indiana on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1929.

After graduating from Purdue University, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He retired after 25 years of service, active duty and the reserves as a Lieutenant Commander.

Todd was employed for the remainder of his career with the General Electric Company before retiring in 1991. He was an avid tennis player, loved basketball and gardening. His greatest love were his 10 grandchildren that referred to him as "Bocca".

Todd is survived by 3 daughters, Annie Lindt (Ken), Amy Kapordelis and Melinda Keating (Tighe), his grandchildren, Adrianne Kapordelis, Michael Kapordelis (Marina), Hannah Lindt, Grace Keating, Lindsay Bower, Hope Keating, Ethan Lindt, Clare Keating, Faith Keating and Jonah Lozar, and his former wife, Marmi Bower. Todd is preceded in death by his son Todd (Mary) in 2017

He will be remembered by his signature line, "Don't buck the Boc"

A private memorial service will be held by the family.
