Obituary for Liviu Florescu
Liviu Florescu of Farmington Hills, died December 29, 2011, at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. He was 53 years old. Liviu was born December 24, 1958, in Romania, to Eleana (nee Manea) and Constantin Florescu. He attended school in Romania and graduated from the University of Bucharest with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and a Masters Degree in Marketing. Liviu was presently working on his MBA at Walsh College. He loved learning and he loved life. He was a generous man who gave freely to others in need. He especially loved his church. Liviu was on the parish council at St. George Cathedral but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
Liviu is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Roxana and son, Radu Costin Florescu. He is also survived by his mother, Eleana Florescu Alexandrescu and sister, Monica Alexandrescu.
Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Saturday 2-4pm. Friends may also visit at St. George Romanian Orthodox Cathedral, 18405 W. Nine Mile Road, Southfield, Sunday 4-8pm with a Saracusta at 7:30pm. A Funeral Service will take place at St. George Cathedral, Monday 10am. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery, Grass Lake.
