Jacqueline I. Kendall of West Bloomfield died January 28, 2018. She was 91 years old. Jackie was born December 5, 1926 in Detroit to Lillian (nee Rafferty) and Kenneth Park.

Jackie worked at Ford Motor Company and Goodale Company. She was a gourmet cook and an avid reader. Jackie was a member of a book club as well as a travelling group called the Nomads. A member and volunteer at First United Methodist Church of Birmingham, she was also President and on the board at Project Hope and was President and on the board at the Women of Bloomfield.

A people person, Jackie was an avid political debater who loved spending time with her many, many friends. She was a patron of the arts and enjoyed spending time at museums, at the theater, and at lecture series.

Jackie is survived by her step-children, Dawn (John) Kennealy, Allan Souders, Lynn (Joseph) Plozai, Sharon (Ron) Frisbie, and Robin (Karen) Souders; grandchildren, Carlo (Candice) Colucci, Nicole (Tom) Kendrick, Jeremy Payne, Brandon Payne, Hance Souders, Jennifer (Jim) Plozai-Ives, Michael (Jessica) Plozai, Brian Plozai, Ryan Frisbie, Kate Frisbie, Kati Souders, and Kevin Souders; and great-grandchildren, Angelo Colucci, Landon Allen, Jordan Plozai, Devyn Plozai, and Joey Plozai. She is also survived by her siblings, Dr. Kenneth (Kathy) Park, Kathleen Park, Kevin (Sandy) Park, and Lisa (Ron) Keefer. Jackie is preceded in death by her husbands, John Souders and John Kendall, father and step-mother, Kenneth and Alice Park and brothers, Richard Park and Carl Park.

Friends may visit at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Rd. (between 14-15 Mile Rds.), Wednesday, January 31st, 2-7pm. A Funeral Service will be held at First United Methodist Church, 1589 W. Maple Rd., Birmingham, Thursday, February 1st at 11am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 10:30am.
