Obituary for Gerald F. Ross

Gerald F. Ross died March 3, 2012 after a brief illness. Gerald was born November 21, 1921 to the late Albert and Julia Ross in Detroit. He served proudly with the United States Marine Corps during the Second World War. 1st Division in Peleliu. Graduated from the University of Michigan in 1942. Married the love of his life, Connie, on August 28, 1954. He was the consummate salesman, known for his bow ties. Sixty-two years as a Home Furnishing Representative, servicing the state of Michigan and founder of G.F. Ross Sales Company. Avid tennis player and stamp collector until the end.

Gerald is survived by his wife �Connie�, his son Grant (Willie)Ross and daughters Bernadette Ross (Joseph Hernandez) and Celeste (Allen) Lewis. His grandchildren Jill (Roy) Keto, Jason (Andrea) Ross, and Selina (Mike) O�Coffeey, great-grand children Jacob, Hannah, Abraham, Ruth, David and Esther, and his sister-in-law Harriet (the late Jerome) Ross and Rose (Leon) Ricelli. He was a favorite uncle to many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Rd. (between 14-15 Mile Rd.) Monday 4-8pm. Prayers Monday 7pm. Funeral mass at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, 32340 Pierce, Beverly Hills, Tuesday 10am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 9:30am. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
