Obituary for Elijah "Louie" Holden

Elijah “Louie” Holden entered this life on August 4, 1995 and went on to be with his savior, January 4, 2017. He accepted Christ and was baptized at 8 years of age. He is a graduate of Avondale Academy and worked at Mason Landscaping with his grandfather.

Elijah was amazingly talented and excelled in football, basketball, track and baseball. He found joy in making music, dancing, but most of all he loved spending time with his friends and family. He was always motivating those around him to be better, by pursuing things that were good.

Preceding him in death, his grandfather James Holden Sr. and a nephew Jeremiah M. Elzy. He leaves his parents Gary and Tran Holden, sister Brianna Holden, grandparents Rosie Brooks, Bobby Mason, Juanita Holden and Glenda Holden. He is also survived by his aunts, Renee Brooks, Anita Holden, Yolanda (Roosevelt) Tatum and uncles, James Holden and Marcus Ball, a host of cousins with honorable mention Anton Brooks, Jarellee “Ray” Brooks, Garrick Ford, Darian Brooks, Marquis Ball, Cameron Harper and Marcreana Ball.

Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday January 11, 2017 at Guardian Angel Cemetery 4701 N Rochester Rd, Rochester, MI 48306.
