Obituary for Dolores V. Zelinski

Dolores V. Zelinski, a longtime resident of Royal Oak, died August 7, 2019. She was 92 years old. Dolores was born January 30, 1927 in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania to Stella (nee Chmielewski) and Stanley Zielinski.

Dolores was a manager at an Insurance Company and a member of Insurance Women’s Association of Michigan. She enjoyed bowling, traveling and playing Bingo. She would often travel miles to different clubs for a good Bingo game. Dolores always made time to celebrate her nieces and nephews’ birthdays.

Dolores is survived by her brother, Stanley (Tina) Zielinski and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stella and Stanley and sisters, Loraine Zielinski Doherty and Phyllis Zielinski Kulig.

Family will receive friends at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road, Clawson, Sunday, August 11th, 3-6pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, 12 Mile & Woodward, Royal Oak, Monday, August 12th at 10am. Friends may visit at church beginning at 9:30am. Burial will follow in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
