Obituary for Debra Cronovich Raad

Debra Cronovich Raad died peacefully at home February 23, 2018, surrounded by her family. She was 61 years old. Debe was born March 21, 1956, in Detroit to Naida (nee Pavlovich) and Charles Cronovich.

She graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1974 and attended Michigan State University. Debe married Michael Raad in 1994 and their son Zachary was born in 1997. She worked at Utica Packing and Johnson Controls.

Debe was a life long member of St Lazarus Church in Detroit and attended Sunday School and Church cultural activities. She was a member of S.S.S. Ravanica Junior Choir and Senior choir and a
life long member of the SNF (Serb National Federation).

Debe loved coffee, gin and tonic, listening to music and spending time with her family and friends. She adored her nieces and nephews and took motherhood to a whole new level. She cherished being Zach’s mom and was the sweetest wife you could ever imagine. Debe was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael, her son, Zachary, her sisters, Georgia (Rande) Somma, Roxanne (Paul) Kovacevich, and Carla Cronovich Kearney, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Debe was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Naida Cronovich.

Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Rd. (between 14-15 Mile Rds.), Tuesday, February 27th, 3-8pm. Pomen 7pm. Friends may also visit at St. Lazarus Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 4575 E. Outer Drive, Detroit, Wednesday, February 28th beginning at 10am, followed by Funeral at 11am. Burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
