Obituary for Carol Ann Zacharzewski

Carol Ann Zacharzewski, 73, of Southfield, MI passed away peacefully January 29, 2021.
Carol is survived by her husband, Joseph; her daughter, Amanda Kauflin (John); her son, Joseph III (Katie); and her brother, Stanley Krajewski.

Carol was born on May 30, 1947, in Detroit, to Stanley and Virginia Krajewski. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Roseville. On May 30, 1969 Carol married her high school sweetheart, Joseph. They welcomed their beautiful children in 1979 and 1982 respectively, who were the most central part of her life. Being a mother was the most important job she would ever have.

In addition to a long career in the food service industry, Carol was always assisting her husband with his accounting practice. Her volunteer service was legendary throughout her children’s schooling.

Carol loved to travel out west to Yellowstone and to her timeshare in Vero Beach, FL. She enjoyed nothing more than walking the beach. She was an avid gardener and her summer displays of lilies and geraniums were always filled with vibrant colors. Carol loved to scrapbook the many special moments that she shared with her family. She treasured the time she could spend with her Airedale Terriers.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 1368 N Crooks Road, Clawson, MI, 48017 on Thursday, February 4th from 3-7pm.
