Obituary for Ca'Son S. Pointer

A life lived on your own terms is a life well lived. In spite of others view of how your life should be lived. Ca'Son did just that, lived his life on his own terms. He chose to live a life that most would view as hard, but he loved harder. He had an infectious, humble, endearing personality that ensnared you from the moment you met him. Ca'Son was loved by strangers and will forever be loved by those who knew him personally.

Ca'Son Sha’Roy Pointer was born March 17, 1975 in Detroit, MI to Sharon Pointer who happily raised him as a single parent. He attended Detroit Public Schools but earned his G.E.D. in 1997. At an early age he was introduced to GOD and confessed his life to Christ. He rededicated his life to Christ one year ago at the Pope Francis Center. He was making peace with himself and everyone around him as mended his life in preparation for a better transition. Ca'Son worked as a construction worker for 15 years and was employed at Chili’s for eight.

He was united in matrimony to Claudine Johnson in 1990. This union was blessed with two sons Ca’son Pointer II and Ha’son Pointer.

Cason was taken from us too soon on September 1, 2018, but he is not alone. Preceding him in death is his uncle Tyrese Pointer, Damon Pointer, cousin Javier Pointer, grandfather Earnest Lee Hill and a number of cousins, aunts and uncles.
