Obituary for Brian M. Young
Brian M. Young died peacefully at home August 12, 2018. He was 62 years old. Brian was born September 5, 1955, in Detroit.
Brian married Karen Beaudin on August 19, 1978, beginning a marriage that would span 40 years. He enjoyed music, especially the Rolling Stones, and playing the drums. He also enjoyed motorcycles, restoring his Nash, camping, going up North, and all Detroit sports. Brian loved watching his kids play hockey and never missed one of his kid’s games, even when all 3 had a game on the same day.
Bryzerman was the nickname Brian gave himself. He made friends wherever he went and talked to everyone. Brian’s greatest joy came from family parties, hanging out with friends, and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and his dog, Finn.
Brian is survived by his beloved wife Karen and children, Michael Young, Amanda (Aaron) Glappa, and Megan (Justin Irelan) Young. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Maddox and Peyton, siblings, Burgess (Maureen) Young, Randy (Donna) Young, Gloria (Gary) Boomer, and Gary (Martha) Young and many loving friends. Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Okie and Mildred Young and siblings, Annette Kramer, Richard Young, and Pam Crockett.
A Funeral Service will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 1368 N. Crooks Road (between 14-15 Mile Rds.) Friday, August 17th at 11am. Friends may visit Thursday, August 16th, 3-8pm.
