Obituary for Anna Komorowska

Anna Komorowska, beloved mother, grandmother and friend, passed away on May 3, 2021, in her home in Royal Oak. She was 89 years old. Anna was born on August 10, 1931, in Kruszenica, Poland to the late Jadwiga and Frank Zelechowski. There she grew up and spent the first 60 years of her life, later emigrating to America.

Anna had a deep love and commitment to her family and would always put others’ needs before her own. She always had a listening ear and gentle wisdom to share. She loved to spend time with her family, and especially to cook for them. She also had a great love for flowers. Anna was an extremely hard worker and had only just retired in February. She will always be remembered by her generosity, her warm, beautiful smile and her joy filled laughter that could light up a room.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Henryk Komorowski. She is survived by her beloved daughters Jagoda (Jozef) Radomscy, Ela (Mark) Skutnik, her loving grandchildren, Piotr (Renata) Kolakowscy, Agata (Radek) Markiewicz, Paulina (Bill) Logozzo, Leszek Kolakowski, David (Kara) Skutnik, her cherished great grandchildren, Sophie, Claire, Ben, Lenka, Olivia and Jacob, and her brother Witek, and her dear friend Teresa Skutnik, along with her family.

Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home 1368 N. Crooks Road, Clawson, Michigan 48017 on Friday, May 7, 2021, from 4-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Church, 3100 18 Mile Rd. Sterling Heights, MI 48314 on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 12:30pm. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton Twp., Michigan.
