Obituary for Andrew F. Sebest
Andrew Francis Sebest died peacefully at home in Troy, October 14, 2012. He was 24 years old. Andy was born May 21, 1988, in Detroit, to Julie (nee Rich) and Frank Sebest.
A very special child, Andy was well known for his infectious laugh and big smile. He loved people unconditionally and was quick to forgive. Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Andy was the better for it. He enjoyed playing pranks and cracking jokes and bowling with his friends and mom. He always kept a positive spirit despite any challenges he faced. He was an avid Tigers fan who supported the team with enthusiasm until the very end. He loved to ride his bike and enjoy the outdoors whenever possible. He also maintained a special relationship with his dog and faithful companion, Bella. A loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend, Andy will be remembered best for his love, laughter, and generous spirit. He will be sorely missed by all.
Andy is survived by his parents, Julie and Frank, his sister, Kayla, his maternal grandparents, Leo and Dorothy Rich, and his paternal grandparents, Frank and Pauline Sebest. He is also survived by his beloved aunt, Meg Rich, as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Academy of the Sacred Heart Chapel, 1250 Kensington Road, Bloomfield Hills, Wednesday 12 Noon. Friends may visit beginning at 10am.
Burial will take place privately in Guardian Angel Cemetery.
